# DownloadKit

> DownloadKit is a free, browser-based downloader for public videos, audio, photos, GIFs and stories from Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, Threads and LinkedIn. It needs no app or login and stores no user files.

DownloadKit is available in 12 languages (en, hi, es, pt, id, ar, tr, vi, fr, de, ru, ja). English pages live at the root; other languages use a /{locale}/ prefix (e.g. https://downloadkit.vercel.app/es/instagram-downloader).

Key facts:
- Price: free, no account, no download limits, no watermark added.
- Works in any modern browser on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux; installable as a PWA.
- Public content only: private accounts and content behind a login cannot be downloaded.
- Privacy: media and pasted links are not stored; HD video+audio merging and MP3/GIF conversion run in the user's browser (ffmpeg WebAssembly).
